August 20, 2007A Union Minister walking the ramp? A few years ago it would be unthinkable, but with almost every other public personality jumping on the model bandwagon, Minister Renuka Chowdhury gearing herself for a walk down the ramp shouldn’t come as a surprise. The feisty politician will be donning this new avatar for a hair and style show by Rudra Spa and joining her will be other unconventional models, including food columnist and author Rashmi Uday Singh, fashion designer Nisha Jamvwal, socialite Esther Daswani and actor Arti Chhabria.
“These models have been chosen on the basis of their strong personalities, achievements and character,” says Neena Aggarwal, proprietor of Maharani Jewellery, who will also walk the ramp.
