The Bachchans were out in full force at the launch of the music of the Bhojpuri film Gangotri at Club Millennium, Mumbai on Saturday, November 17.
The film starring Amitabh Bachchan is a sequel to Ganga and has been directed by Deepak Sawant who was AB’s make up man earlier.
While Amitabh was formally turned out on the occasion in a double breasted suit with a white shirt sans a tie, Abhishek and Aishwarya were informally attired in jeans and white top / shirt.
Its been some time since Abhihsek paid a visit to the barber but that is because the long hair are mandated by his role in the underproduction film Drona in which he is paired opposite Priyanka Chopra.

Ram Gopal Varma is shocked to see pictures of the secretly-shot song ‘Mehbooba’, featuring both Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan with Urmila, leaked out on the net.
‘I haven’t given out any pictures. In fact, I don’t intend to show the song in my promos. So it has to be images taken on a mobile camera during the shoot (at Karjat),’ Varma told IANS.
At the same time, the director is falling off his chair with mirth at a report that Aishwarya Rai was supposed to do the ‘Mehbooba’ song before Urmila Matondkar in his much-talked about film ‘Sholay’.
He said: ‘This is news to me. As far as I’m concerned Urmila was always the first and the last choice for ‘Mehbooba’ song. I don’t know where Aishwarya came into the picture.’
The film starring Amitabh, Ajay Devgan and Sushmita Sen, is a remake of Ramesh Sippy’s film of the same name.

Bollywood newlyweds among the stars at Cannes Film Festival

CANNES, France — Aishwarya Rai is a household name in many countries. Now the Bollywood actress, who married fellow film star Abhishek Bachchan last month, is getting used to a new moniker.

“This is the first travel where people start calling you, ‘Hello Mrs. Bachchan, good evening,’” Rai told AP Television News on Wednesday.

“I’ve maybe done a double take at times, but pleasantly so, it makes us smile, so it’s been good,” she said.

Rai, 33, a former Miss World, interrupted her honeymoon for a visit to the Cannes Film Festival. She is at the French Riviera resort as part of the team of models for cosmetics company L’Oreal.

She was in the audience — and on the red carpet — for Wednesday’s opening-night festival screening of Wong Kar-wai’s “My Blueberry Nights.”

Once she is back in India, Rai said she will continue work on her latest film, the 16th-century royal love story Jodha-Akbar.

Her screen credits include 2004’s Bride & Prejudice, directed by Gurinder Chadha.

Jhoom Barabar jhoom movie stills latest unseen

After making successful films like Saathiya and Bunty Aur Babli , director Shaad Ali comes up with this musical entertainer. Unlike his previous films that were set in rural India or cities, ‘Jhoom Barabar Jhoom’ is mostly set in England and France.

The movie brings Abhishek Bachchan and Bobby Deol together on the silver screen for the first time. Earlier, John Abraham was approached for the role that eventually went to Bobby.

Preity pairs with her good friend Bobby in this film after a very long gap since ‘Soldier’.
